This User Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules, responsibilities, and acceptable behavior for users (“you”, “your”) when accessing or using the Basudo platform (“Service”). Basudo Technologies (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a marketplace where student chefs offer homemade meals to students and other users.

By using Basudo, you agree to comply with this Policy and any other terms referenced within it.

2. Eligibility

To use Basudo, you must:

Be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent where required).
Provide accurate account information.
Not create accounts on behalf of another person without permission.

3. User Responsibilities

When using Basudo, you agree to:

Provide real and accurate personal and delivery information.
Keep your account login details confidential.
Use Basudo only for lawful purposes.
Treat student chefs, riders, and support staff with respect.
Verify your order details before confirming payment.

4. Prohibited Actions

As a Basudo user, you must not:

Harass, threaten, or abuse chefs, riders, or other users.
Submit false complaints, fake reviews, or misleading reports.
Attempt to defraud the platform or a chef.
Use the platform to purchase food for resale.
Attempt to access or modify areas of the system without authorization.
Upload harmful code, viruses, or attempt to hack the system.

5. Ordering and Delivery

Orders cannot be cancelled after the chef has started preparing your meal.
Delivery times may vary based on availability, distance, and campus conditions.
Basudo does not guarantee delivery times but strives for timely service.
If you provide an incorrect address or contact number, failed delivery is not refundable.

6. Food Safety & Allergies

Basudo does not cook or package meals. All meals are prepared by independent student chefs.
You are responsible for reviewing:

Ingredients
Allergy warnings
Chef notes

Basudo is not liable for allergic reactions caused by meals purchased on the platform.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Users may submit honest reviews about chefs and meals. You agree that your feedback must:

Reflect your genuine experience
Not contain abusive or defamatory language
Not be used to threaten or blackmail chefs for compensation

We reserve the right to remove harmful or false reviews.

8. Violations & Penalties

If you violate this Policy, Basudo may:

Issue warnings
Restrict features on your account
Suspend or permanently deactivate your account
Report fraudulent actions to authorities where necessary

9. Updates to the Policy

Basudo may update this Policy to improve safety and compliance. Your continued use of the platform means you accept any changes.
